All Chateau Amor breeding parents have been tested against and are certified PKD Negative, thus assuring no genetic possibility of kittens produced inheriting the PKD gene. They also have been tested negative for FELV (Feline Lieukemia) and FIV (Feline Aids).
This testing and our generous 1 year replacement health guarantee against genetic defects will allow you to adopt from us with confidence.

Babies will have age-appropriate vaccinations, usually consisting of first booster of FVRCP vaccine, when adopted. They may need a remaining booster and Rabies shot within a few weeks time, based on your consultation with the veterinarian of your choice. Shot records will be provided at adoption delivery.

We are forever committed to the babies born at Chateau Amor and will always be available to provide support and guidance to our adoptive families, when asked to do so. We love to hear news and see pictures of our babies after they are adopted. They may leave Chateau Amor, but they are never forgotten...
At Chateau Amor our kittens quite literally are our babies - our family. We love Persians and have devoted our time, energy and resources to provide wonderful beloved pets to many families over the past several years.
We are not a pet shop, but rather a conscientious, small, in-home cageless breeder commited to breeding for quality and temperament of our babies and to assure the continuance of the wonderful Persian breed.
Our babies are raised in our loving, cage-free home from birth. They are given the love and parental care (feline and human) that will allow them to go to their new homes as confident, happy members of their forever families. Babies are adopted directly from us through our detailed adoption process.
We do not realize a profit from our operations, as our expenses to provide quality care to our furry family consistently offset any income received. As we look to the future, we are changing our focus to specifically develop our champion lines and to actively show some of the beautiful Persians we own and/or have produced at Chateau Amor.
Chateau Amor has maintained its CFA designation of "Cattery of Excellence" every year since its inception. We are successfully veterinarian inspected and sanctioned each year to qualify for this designation and adhere to acceptable CFA husbandry standards.
